Love and Inspiration

It has been a while since I have written to my friends here on Carol's. I hope thus far you have been inspired and have felt love. This week, I want to inspire you to do REDUCE YOUR BILLS!! As the economy has taken a toll on all, be cautious about what you are spending. DON"T live to the tilt of your money. Even if you have a more than average income, Put some away for a rainy day and believe me RAINY DAYS are coming!!. There are rumors that the government is going to start closing government funded programs such as childcare assistance, welfare, temporary housing money etc In order to help restore the economy. This is sad but its reality. SO many have abused the system for so long from the white house to the poor house and everything has hit the ceiling . You must be mindful or your children and families that you do whatever it takes to make sure they have what they need. This is a warning! You want to be a Proverbs 31 woman!! You might want to start cooking again instead of eating out. Make meals that last for two or three days. It helps you to gain more family time and mommy and me time. This can save you $200 to $300 or more a month. Make a list when you grocery shop. Create a menu and follow it. This will help reduce your grocery bill. Shop at discounted stores for your sides. Where I live there is a store called BiG LoTs. I didn't know what a secret treasure this was. Trash bags, washing powder, towels mops, Rice a Roni, Cereal... all a fraction of what I pay at the grocery store. Then go the store for meats and other perishable items. CLIP COUPONS. There is a website called shortcuts.com. Visit it and sign up. There coupons are linked to your club cards and are taken at the register. Another secret... Don't trust in what you have in the bank. Trust in God. PAY YOUR TITHES & OFFERING. 10% of your gross income. Malachi 8:3-12. Speaks of A person robbing GOD but if you pay your tithes and offering HE will (will being a promise word) open up the windows of Heaven and pour you out a blessing that you shall not have room enough to receive and there being meat in your house ( meaning money in your bank account). Follow these principles and this year could be greater for you. Others will be going through, but God will see that ALLLLLLLLL your needs are taken care of. HE wants us to use knowledge and wisdom. Another idea to reduce your bills, bundle your entertainment packages ( phone, cell, Cable).Another, to reduce your heating bill, if you can,( central heating homes only) close all the vents in the rooms you are not in and keep the ones open where people are. This will centralize the heat and not heat up rooms you are not in thus reducing your bill and you can all stay warm. Lastly, Put gas in your car as early in the morning as you can and fill it up. Never fill up when you see a tanker at the gas station, it causes air bubbles to get into your tank. Making you spend more for less. When your tank gets to a quarter of a tank, refill it. IF you do this, you will be grateful. This helps you save time and money. A lot of money. With gas prices rising again, we all can do what ever we can to reduce our spending, save money and heartache.
